Drawings with paint from my recent MA final show

My work has been described "contemporary portraiture", it is about presenting a very human response to the subject, whether it is showing the relationship between the sitter and the artist as in a portrait, or the sheer impact of a building. To a certain extent I regard it as contemporary expressionism informed by the modern world. I'm realising that in this high speed digital world the live sat portrait's relevance is growing, as a reminder that there is no substitute for stopping and spending time with real people.
